Diverse Learning Environments

Explorers
Babies need time and space to explore, to be curious, to discover the world around them. To pause and ponder, and feel deeply secure with their surroundings. Here at Pepper Royd we ensure continuity of staff to ensure strong bonds are formed with your little ones, promoting a feeling of security for them to explore the environment. Our baby room is full of soft furnishings and heuristic objects for your little one to discover.Heuristic play is rooted in young children's natural curiosity. As babies grow, they move beyond being content to simply feel and ponder objects, to wanting to find out what can be done with them. Toddlers have an urge to handle things: to gather, fill, dump, stack, knock down, select and manipulate in other ways. The goal of heuristic play is to provide a wide range of sensory stimulation to help children discover and learn things for themselves.

Adventurers
Here at Pepper Royd we believe early education is important and therefore have an early years teacher on site. Early years educators help encourage development by facilitating group activities, Inspiring children to explore areas of interest and engage in their learning experiences. We provide a diverse learning environment to support all, including our exceptional learners whom are supported further by our SENDCO.

Masterminds
Our holiday club provides children with a wide range of fun activities and outings.
